If this is one of the first dates you've been on together keep it simple. Also, keep it inexpensive! For some great date ideas for $10 or less, consult "Being a Man in a Woman's World".  If this is your first date together, you should limit it to coffee, lunch or a stroll along the beach. For your first 3 - 4 dates, I don't recommend going to the movies. These dates should be to bond and create interest. Thus, you will want to do something where you'll be able to talk to each other and interact.

As you progress in your relationship, you can find all sorts of fun things to do. Here is a list of some fun dates:

• Dinner and dancing - an old favorite! Check your local community newspapers, band information and city guides for clubs, restaurants and events in your area.

• Sunset picnic - during the warm spring and summer months,  you can pack a dinner with simple foods like cheese, bread, crackers, cookies, wine, etc., and enjoy it with a sunset.

• Find out what's going on in your area - listen to the local news or check your community resources for events going on over the weekend.

• Visit museums, aquariums, historic exhibits, etc.

• Take a bike or rollerblade tour.

• Find the tallest building in the city and check out the view, (watch the trespassing however!)

• Take an afternoon hike.

• 8-ball in the side - how about a game or two of pool or miniature golf?

• If you're both into it, how about a game of real golf - limit it to 9 holes unless you're both serious competitors!

• Do a "progressive dinner" - here, you start with a drink in one restaurant, have a salad in another, have your main course in another, and dessert in yet another. Try to walk between each one.

• Go horseback riding.

• Try a boat show, an exhibition or a symphony.

Finally, be creative! There are a thousand ways you can find to have fun - and remember dates should be fun!
