Hi to everyone...
since I started on the community I've had this idea in mind to make a new kind of "site" for PUAs based on the idea and design of Stackoverflow, so I started working on
www.puaquestions.comThe idea is pretty simple... it's a questions and answers site... People can ask questions and answer questions so the "community" as a hole can have a conversation about any topic. You can either register or use an existing openid account
Every question and every answer can be voted up and down, and each vote provides reputation to the original publisher of the question or answer. That way, people that provide good/helpful answers or asks interesting questions starts gaining reputation. In the same way, most voted answers "flow" to the top of the list so that the most helpful answer is readed first, while downvoted questions and answers flow to the bottom, never to be seen again.
The place is run for the community and by the community. When enough reputation is gained you get moderation skills so you can edit other content, close irrelevant questions and so on... that's because you've gained the respect of the community itself by your usefulness to it, by providing good answers, raising interesting topics and, overall, helping guys become better PUAs.
I've just launched the site... I don't know if it will be useful or not but I'd like you to give it a try... right now the site is in bootstrap mode, which means there're no reputation requirements (usually you'll need at least 15 rep points to vote up and 100 to vote down) are in place so everyone can vote up and participate... If you find it useful and want to spread the word feel free to do it... once the user number reaches 100 I'll disable bootstrap mode so the site runs as intended. I hope you find if fun...
